Bubbling Water feature…

The recent installation of the new sewer system led this homeowner to allow us to redesign their front landscape. After recessing the clean out risers, compacting and regrading the soil, it was seeded and top dressed with Sweet Peet as a hindrance to birds and a moisture barrier. Sweet Peet is also a free fertilizer for your new lawn… no more straw to rake up after your seeds sprout resulting in a loss of new grass.

The landscape design and installation were completed keeping in mind that a sump pump and drainage pipes need to function as well as be incorporated into the design. Basement water issues have been resolved.

This landscape renovation consisted of removing selective shrubs, an overgrown wildflower areas and perennials. This accent wall of natural stone boulders is not only an attractive looking, but functional as well. Mulch is retained in the landscape bed and the contrast of the stones and mulch make traveling the driveway very easy.

The majority of plant material selected for this site is considered ornamental rather than average, boring, usually undesirable shrubs. Please note that ornamental plants may seem like a maintenance nightmare but actually can be very simple to maintain.
During the installation of the landscape and the stone border bed on the side of the house, the house itself received a fresh coat of white paint on the six (6″) inch trim board everywhere on the front of the house. The recent updates to the front landscape and natural stonework on the side of the house create multiple focal points including the clean, crisp lines of the bright white boards from the street view.
