This slider door and trim had to be sanded of the polyurethane shell over the wood, cleaned and primed.  The final 2 coats of fresh paint on the door and a lighter and brighter wall color, really help transform this room from a dark to new and bright feeling room.

BEFORE…

A plastic tarp was set up to control dust from sanding the slider doors.  The clean up is easier than the homeowner finding dust everywhere throughout the house.  Clean up is a priority with Miracle Paint and Landscape – a controlled mess saves everyone time and money.

The trim has been sanded and the slider door has a coat of primer.  The glossy sheen of the originally stained wood has been removed and prepped for an enamel finish 2 coats of white paint are to follow.

The baseboards throughout both of these rooms were primed and then had 2 coats of an enamel finish paint applied.  The front room window was also sanded and painted to match as well.  Details include painting the ceilings, walls, trim, hand scraping the floor of previous paint along the baseboards and applying a coat of stain or polyurethane to blend the wood back to matching.  The crisp edges on the wood work are an essential update to the rooms.

Look hard to the top of the picture, The entire foyer was covered in this wallpaper. Cleaned of the glue residue and paper backing, these walls are ready for a fresh coat of paint.  Miracle took it upon themselves to clean the chandelier of those cobwebs and shined the glass as well.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After we removed the extremely old carpeting, the plaster like layer under was preventing the original hardwood floors from being exposed.  This time consuming hand scrape and shave process was worth it the end.  Once removed, the floors were sanded and a polyurethane coat was applied.  Clean and smooth, these floors look like the carpet was never there.

And don’ forget about the walls and trim… The wall paper has been removed and the walls have been cleaned and propped from primer and paint.
